Our sweet Baby Rythm was born after a very powerful, intense two hour labor. He was born at home, in the water, into his mama's loving hands. Both big brothers were in attendance as well as proud papa, awesome midwife and doula, and proud Abuela (my mom...this is her 10th grandbaby!). Someday I'll write the birth story, when I remember it all. I Dreamed this baby would be born on his due date, under the full moon, on MLK Jr's birthday with snow on the ground and would be a very fast birth. Everything came true! Born on MLK Jr's b-day, baby's due date, there was snow on the ground that morning and a beautiful full moon that night and the birth was very fast.

Geoffrey Finn William ("Peace-bearing, Fair, Protector") was born at home on January 28th, Saturday morning at 3:57 a.m. My easiest and most enjoyable birth so far---and I know it's because I was at home!

10 lbs, 6 oz, 21 inches long. The exact same weight as his older brother!

Fuzzy light brown hair, dark eyes, super chubby cheeks!

Yay! I had a homebirth! I am still taking it all in!

Spent a week in hospital trying to induce because of low amniotic fluid. Ended up with C-section as induction didn't work. Not what I wanted, but everyone is healthy and at home now.

Great labour- less than 9 hrs. not much pain until mw broke my water. Babe came 35 mins. later after only 6 mins of pushing! No drugs, picked up nursing right away, & now sleeps 10 - 12 hrs a night. She's absolutely gogeous, just like her brother
