Jennifer Garner was induced last night, gave birth overnight sometime. A little girl.

Darn, everyone was calling for her to be induced weeks ago, I kind of hoped she'd go against the hollywood crap and let things happen naturally. Then again, at least it wasn't a scheduled c-section. *shrug* maybe she had health issues

Oh Yay! I'm so happy for them. I wonder if they will name her Violet like it says...They seem so normal to me, not like your typical hollywood couple.

Violet Ann is a cute name.

His brother Casey became a dad about a year ago - his partner (Summer Phoenix) seems pretty crunchy and I saw pics of Casey wearing the baby in a sling (he's also a vegan). I was hoping his earthy-birthy-ness would rub off on Ben.

Violet is a lovely name, should they choose it. Induction doesn't need be seen as such a terrible thing. From the recent pics of Jen, she was starting to look uncomfortable.

She's a little woman and was definitely full-term by the looks of things! (Maybe even overdue? They've said she's due in December and celebs usually put the date far in advance to throw off paparazzi. She may not have expected to go quite so long...)
