implantation bleeding??

Hi all, i'm new to this board. We're TTC #2 and really want it to work this month! I'm in day 14 of a 26 day cycle and noticed a little bleeding. I've never had bleeding mid-cycle, as far as I can remember. I'm wondering if it could be implantation bleeding, but then thinking it might be too early for that. Anybody have any similar experiences?

Implantation bleeding is supposedly experienced by a small percentage of women, like 7%.

Typically, implantation bleeding occurs 7-10 days (avg is 9 days after ovulation and fertilization) after ovulation. Do you ovulate very early in your cycle? I'd be hard pressed to say that bleeding on CD14 in a 26 day cycle is implantation bleeding, based on what you've described so far.

One can have some spotting or bleeding mid-cycle due to:

-Anovulation (unopposed estrogen)
-Ovulation bleeding
-Low progesterone: Shortened or prolonged corpus luteum life span; abnormal relative ratio of estrogen to progesterone
-Implantation bleeding
-Cervical Infection
-Endometrial polyp
-Beginning or stopping hormones (e.g. oral contraceptives, progesterone)
-Stress
-IUDs
-Trauma or injury to the vagina or cervix
-Cancer (vagina, cervix, endometrium, ovary)
-Certain drugs (e.g. anticoagulants)
-Vaginal dryness
-After Gyn procedures (HSG, laparoscopy, biopsy, D&C , cervical cauterization)

This is just my experience, I'm by no means an expert, I had implantation bleeding on day 12 past O (very late for implantions bleeding) with both of my pregnancies. They have been the only 2 times during 17 years of cycles that I've had bleeding other that a period.
