Help, quick! Easy fancy dress ideas - outer space

We are off to a gathering on Monday and there will be a feast and the idea is people dress up using the theme outer space. I have ds sorted and dd(6) wants to be Jupiter, but I also need ideas for my 9 and 12 yr old. They need to be super easy as I have never done any sewing/craft stuff before and don't have much time!!! Preferably ideas using coloured clothes we can adapt. Things involving paper/card, foil etc Help, any ideas???

I saw a cute costume on a show for Halloween where the kid wore a purple sweat suit and pinned purple balloons to her clothes to be a bunch of grapes. I would think you could pin on gold ones to be some sort of stars, or other colors for an alien.

Watch an old episode of Star Treck for ideas too. An old remote would make a good phasor.
