Mold!!!!!

HELP!! We have an old fridge in our kitchen sitting next to the new one. When we went to move it, there was a big thick wide circle of mold under it on the linoleum floor!!!! The fridge was there when we moved in. So far the "best" quote i've gotten to professionally move it is $160 and they cant even guarantee that mold wont rub the carpet!! We might as well try and do it ourselves....right? There is carpet between the kitchen and front door. How the hell do i do this safely????

If you mean just getting that thing outside, maybe you could put plastic down on the floor to protect your carpet.

I agree, plastic sheeting taped down onto all the floors between the fridge and the outdoors. Then use an appliance dolly (just rent one from U-Haul) to put the fridge onto then take it out.

Did the mold go through the lineoleum into anything else? Can you just bleach the mold on the floor away?

thanks for the dolly suggestion, thats a great idea. lol...as for the linoleum, i have no idea if it went through. i moved the fridge back and just prayed it would disappear. *sigh* off i go to war with the mold.
