DH got home lastnight. he's still exhausted from working 10 days in a row. poor guy.

we did manage to take sage to see santa today! he was great with her and spent like 10-15 minutes w/ her, (there were no other kids there at the moment), and he let us take our own pictures instead of paying for the mall pics. I LOVE SANTA!!! I told him so, lol. anyway, I'll upload the pics when I get a chance. Sage didnt talk to him or anything, but he read her a book, played with her, etc. she liked it, and she's been really into santa stuff lately, she was just really shy...I told Santa it was b/c she's never met a celbrity before, lol!!

ok, DH calling for dinner, lol, ttfn!
at a mall in Massachusetts this past week a mother was told her child could not sit on santas lap unless she paid for a pic.
Later in the week though she was at a different mall owned by the same Co. and she got a free pic of her kid w/santa

: That's terrible! we always got to at least sit w/ santa even if we werent taking a picture. at least the kid finally got to see him.

Temp still low...and I feel crampy and need chocolate today, so I'm sure AF is on her way, probably by this afternoon I'm guessing. arg! I just wish I could figure out what is going on?? My cycles were perfectly regular, (28-30 days), until Josh and I talked about TTC and we said, "Ok, let's start TTC again!" and then my cycle was 64 days or something like that!! I think I must be stressing about it too much or something, I dont know. I've tried to be more relaxed about it, but that hasnt seemed to help.

oh, and I had a mouse....I caught him latnight on a glue trap....the cat dragged him into the living room and ate some of him!!! :Puke and 1 glue trap is completely missing! we cant find it anywhere. I've already torn the house apart. Its not stuck to any of our animals, either. (oh, and please dont think of me as inhumane for using the glue traps...he kept setting off my humane traps and not getting caught in them, or escaping...this was the only way I could get him out of my house!)

Sage is really enjoying her daddy being home. he has to leave again tomorrow night, so we're trying to make the most of him being home.

ttfn!

Happy Birthday Brynn, Evan, Jasper, and Emily!

To answer the inquiring questions about baby #2 ... I'm still in such shock that it actually happened this month. I was so convinced that it wasn't going to b/c of timing, but ... if my O date is correct, baby was conceived on Thanksgiving, so that's kinda cool. Now I get to wear a bridesmaid dress at like 7 weeks pp for SIL's wedding. I've got to figure out how to size this thing so there's enough room for the nursies ....

We've only told a few people -- basically the MDC community and any of our friends IRL who are part of the MDC community. I want to tell family, but DH wants to wait until after I see the mw, but that won't be until sometime in January at the earliest. I've got to remind him that me declining coffee and wine at Christmas will pretty much inform them that I'm pg, so we should just make it part of a gift or something. I'm still feeling ok, just tender breasts (and my milk supply still seems good although I get waves of nausea when nursing) and exhaustion (but hard to say if that's pg related or just the result of chronic sleep deprivation). I hope it stays this way ...

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

OMG, so much has happened! CONGRATULATIONS, AMY!!! I'm so excited for you.

Christy - You will get pregnant when it is the perfect time for you. Have you tried buying a huge mega-pack box of tampons? That's what has worked for me! The pictures of Sage are just adorable. I'm sorry about your mouse travails.

We had a great birthday for Emily. We had an open house sort of thing, so people were coming and going for most of the day. It was really nice, if a bit long. I still can't believe she is 2!

Abby is doing great. She sleeps pretty well, is nursing great, and just doing everything that a little baby is supposed to be doing. Liz and Sherri, you don't have too much longer before you are holding your babies!

Liz - Emily had problems with my big belly too. Rocking her was really a challenge, and I couldn't always do it. I felt horrible about it. And speaking from experience, both my girls have pretty much recovered from the birth of their new sister. It is a big adjustment. They just need time and love!

bec~I'm glad your kiddos are all starting to adore their baby sister! oh, and I actually did think about buying a bunch of pads yesterday at the store, lol. I didnt, maybe I should have?? I'm going to the HFS today and get some Vitex. Looking back at when I got pg w/ Sage, i seem to remember that being the big catalyst for helping me get pg. I'm sure the progesterone I was on helped, too, but i got pg in-between progesterone cycles, so I'm almost sure it was the vitex that helped.

I caught 1 more mouse this morning. they're the teeny little field mice, and I *almost* feel like we could live w/ them, lol, they are so cute.

Is anyone else done w/ christmas shopping?? I'm finally finished...or so I thought. I got a card from my grandma yesterday and she wrote that she wanted me to get DH and Sage and myself some gifts from her and sent me the money in the card...my other grandma called me and told me she is doing the same thing!!! Dangit!! I thought I was done! and I cant get away with not buying anything b/c they expect pictures!!!

Sage is practicing for her birthday right now...she's eating a cupcake and its everywhere!!! she loves cake! I made gingerbread afew days ago and it didnt taste all that great, (even the dogs wouldnt eat it), so I threw it out...well, 5 mins later, sage is walking thru the house eating a piece of it going, "cake mom!! I love it!!" I grabbed it and threw it away and now I have to watch her around the trash can again! I thought that stage was over!!! oh well. Now I have to bathe a green toddler, (the frosting was green on her cupcake)! ttfn!

Can we say INDEPENDANT!!! OMG this stage is going to make me crazy! Everything we do, I hear "no! Me!" she wants to do it herself. Then when she can't get it, she starts screeching and yelling but if I ask if she wants help she yells "NO! ME!" again. It's a vicious cycle that is driving me loony!
