Wooly Nylon: How do you thread it?

Hi, I wanted to use wooly nylon on some wipes that I am making and I tried to tie a knot and it broke off. So what is the trick to working with this difficult thread? I am so frustrated at the moment. Help!!!!!!

TIA

Tie a piece of regular thread to the end of the wooly nylon and thread it that way.

I will also tie it to the thread that's already in, then pop the thread out of the tension plate thingy and run it through very slowly. Once the knot is past the tension thing, you can pop it back in and go from there.

another yeah that--it also helps to adjust the tension to 0 until the wooly nylon is all the way through.

Sometimes those threads don't like knots. What I do is cut a length of regular thread about a yard long, double it and pull out a bunch of wooly nylon putting at least 12 inches of the end through the loop from the doubled thread. Thread the double end of the regular thread as normal, then just pull it all through.

Does this make any sense?

I use a piece of regular thread to pull the wooly nylon through the needle. Fold a piece of regular thread (a few inches long is all you need) in half and thread the folded part (NOT the loose ends) through the needle from the back to the front so the loop is sticking out the front of your needle. Then thread the end of your wooly nylon into the loop and pull your regular yarn back. The regular thread loop will pull the wooly nylon, threading it through your needle.

Have you ever used a needle threader? Same basic idea. You could also use a needle threader, but I don't have one.
