Well, no wonder he waited so long! He wanted to earn his namesake, and some might still consider November as fall.

Congrats! What a big healthy boy and sounds like a great birth!

Oh thank you guys so much for all your love and support. I thought I was losing my mind there at the end. I am so completely blissed out, I can't stop kissing him and smelling that fresh baby smell. He's so squishy and fat! He's been sleeping most of the day. He must be pooped out from such a quick, amazing birth.
God I feel so empowered by that awesome birth. I am so glad I made it!

You sound so proud and happy, I can't find words to make you more so. Isn't this your first natural birth as well? I'm so glad things went according to plan in the end.
How are your boys coping with big brotherhood?

Proud and happy don't even begin to describe the feelings. My parents, my entire family, my midwife, all my friends and especially I am completely in awe of what I accomplished and how easy I made it seem.
This is my first natural birth. I now know what people mean by it being a life-changing experience. I've never been more in awe of myself.
And seriously, recovering has been so easy! I feel awesome!
Kolaiah was a little standoffish at first but he seems to be warming up to baby brother. Gabriel is thrilled and proud and LOVES to hold him (he even asks while I'm nursing and is very put out when he is asked to wait!)

Still totally in baby bliss. Words can't even describe.
