Emptying The Birth Pool

Ok....so we feel better about the hose now....but now I am curious on how you all emptied your fishy pools after all was said and done??? It will be February so it is not like DH can take and dump the water outside...let alone we live in a townhouse so that would probably be a bad idea anyways. Thanks

I know there are submersible pumps you can buy to pump the water into the tub or you could bail it out with a bucket. Check out yourwaterbirth.com they sell kits with all the stuff you need

we used a pump and drained into the yard, but you could drain into the tub or sink too...

With the Python you can suck the water directly into the sink.
