I just love when the babies get the hiccups. This baby got them for the first time (that I could feel) a few days ago. My DD (who's 10) actually felt them too. I'm assuming the baby's head is down because I feel the hiccups way down there! LOL

How do you know where the baby's head is? If s/he's shaking from hiccups couldn't it be the chest? Or shoulders? (I tried mock-hiccoughing to see what moved and it wasn't my head. Am I being an idiot?) *blush* I'm such a newb. |
I did not feel them with dd until I was 28 weeks, but then I felt them ALL! THE! TIME! Every day. Some days 4-5 times. (She was a big hiccuper as a nb also.) I personally found it much easier to determine body parts, head vs feet location in the 3rd trimester. It also helped that dd's placenta was posterior.
It made me laugh!! Can't wait to feel them with this babe!!
I seem to be feeling it in the middle of my belly, down low. It's a funny feeling! Much different than the kicks and other moves.
