Embarrassing question

First of all, HELLO!! My name is Heather. I am a 24 year old single momma to Cameron (he's 3), expecting number 2 in June by my soon-to-be ex-husband. I have what might be a stupid question. I just went to the restroom and I have a knot about the size of a dime on the inside of my thigh. It's not a hemmorhoid, it's not that far back. It's hard to describe where it is!! But it's not on my leg, not on my vagina anywhere, almost in the crease of my leg. HELP!!!

You know, one of the worst things about pregnancy for me is that I sometimes get monster zits... occasionally they turn up somewhere like that, and yeah they do get that big and take a while to run their course. So I am thinking it may be some kind of Mutant Pregnancy Zit... I'll be interested to hear what other mamas say about this... have you tried warm compresses? Does it hurt at all?

Sending you lump-go-away vibes...

It hurts like a son of a gun. Bad part is that I am at work so I don't have a mirror to really be able to see what it is and I have no heating pad in sight!! I appreciate the insight though. I was spoiled my first pregnancy, I had absolutely none of this weird stuff.

i had something like that before i was pregnant.. It was actually on my labia.. HURT HURT HURT!!! got very big and swollen and i could not move..I ended up going to the dr.. It was an abcess and they had to pop it... IT was noxious in the office when she(the dr) lanced it... UGH!!! We both almost passed out... Thankfully it healed very fast... I haven't had any other ones, just that one.. If it gets bigger or harder you might want to call your dr, and see if they want to see you...

Warm Squishy Feelings...

Inguinal hernia perhaps ? that is another thought. Is it hard or softish ? I'd mention it to your care provider if it is softish, or painful, or red or hot or anything of that nature.

Oooooh boy...I don't have a name for it but I had one of these once. I went to the doc and he said it was probably an ingrown hair or just a clogged pore gone nuts. He explained that it just keeps filling up with puss or whatever, gunk...and if it doesn't disssapte on it's own it can get hard under the skin.

He then asked me if I wanted to have him stick a needle in and pop it out, or let it be and see if it would go away on its own. I was like, "Let it be!" But he recommended that I just get it done since he didn't think it would go away without help (it had been there for like 6 weeks).

Well, owie. it did hurt pretty bad. He asked me if I wanted to see "it" after it popped out, and I was like NO! But now I wish I wouldv'e looked.

FYI, that same cavity filled up with stuff (I guess...the lump came back in other words) after I gave birth and I was so freaked out about going back...I prayed that it would go away on it's own and it did.
