Thanks. Pants are so easy! Side seams, inseam, waist band and hem. If hems intimidate you, add a ruffle or something. If you have a little metal hem marker (like a small ruler with a plastic thing to mark the measurement) it makes them and the waist band a lot easier.
Try making a pair, you will see. I really liked your material for the carrier and yoga bag.

I love that bag! Did you use a pattern? I have a friend for whom I'd love to make a bag like that ...

I found the pattern on a blog http://www.figandplum.com/archives/000016.html

Her dimentions are good, but the overall instruction is kind of vague. For instance, she says to first sew the bag the long way down. I realized after that I need to finish my ends first for the drawstring. Also, I made the bottom about a half inch smaller than what she suggested because you end up with pleating. I just made another bag out of satin brocade (PITA) and satin cord. I had to make the pattern an inch more than she called for since I had to fold over every edge twice. It's still free though. I couldn't even find a tutorial on craftster.org for a yoga bag.

Feel you on that one, but I am trying to get motivated. I am a pajama addict so I have been sewing him cool pj's.
