Anyone else's dc looking for the mysterious 3rd breast?

So the other night, dd climbed into our recliner with me, snuggled up and put her little arms around my neck and patted me gently. "Mommy" she whispers "This time, I want milk from THREE nursies!"
Cracked me up. I did inform here that just the same old 2 were all that was available, and she decided to settle for them!

That is so cute!

My dd has been a bit baffled lately about why Daddy won't share any milk with her!

Yeah, DS too. He really wants to get milk from his dad - I don't know why, but it really freaks DH out.

Well, DS has tried a couple of times to latch on to the fat roll on my tummy, does that count?

DS Has been trying and trying to latch on to my belly button, and he looks so crestfallen when there's no let down! He also just started twiddling : so I think he's more aware of actually a second snackie than he was before. I think he's just checking all possible sites for milk!

DD recently was on a kick where she was reeeaaallllly interested in another baby at our house. She'd sidle up to me and say, Mama! Three kids and three snackies!! I finally caught on that she thought maybe I'd grow another snackie while I was growing another baby. She was sooo disappointed when I told her 3 kids but only 2 snackies . . .

My supply dropped for a few days a while back. My ds would latch on one side, come off, latch on the other side, come off and then whine "I want the OTHER chichi." He also (in the day) would open each bra cup and then try to open the middle of the bra (over my sternum) saying " I want that one."

Funny kids! DS is a twiddler, so when we nurse in bed, he is nursing on the "lower" boob & twiddling the "upper" one. Once in a while, instead of rolling us both over, I will just roll further forward to let him "boo" on the upper one. That will work for a little while until he starts wanting to twiddle & searching my armpit for the upper boobie! He gets really confused, and it is confusing to describe too! poor guy!

OMG I really thought we were the only ones doing this. While lying on our sides Jack sucks the lower one , then the upper one and THEN tries to nurse off my shoulder.

And this morning, he called them chi chi for the first time.

yes! ds keeps on thinking i've got one hidden in my armpit - he keeps on saying "that one" and pointing - so i'm like you can have this one or this one - i've only got two - one or two - so now he calls them one and two...but he's still hoping for a third

My ds likes to expose both sides so he can twiddle(it's funny that others call it that too!) while he nurses. Lately he's taken to sticking his hand up through the top of my shirt looking for a third "snack".

My daughter searches for another one, she will finish the first 2, she also twiddles, then she will start searching below them on my stomach, I always ask her "do you think I am a cat?"

I am actually a freak that has nipples on my belly. Infact I have large bumpy "moles" all along the milk line. So do all of my cousins.

My oldest twiddled the moles, that was SOOO much better than twiddling the nipples.

My DD is always looking for another boobie. I explained to her there are only two and counted them "one, two" while pointing.
Now she counts them when I remind her there are no more boobies.

I cannot wait until the new baby gets here and she cannot twiddle the other nipple.
The twiddling makes me bonkers.

Mine finally got beyond the twiddling stage, that drove me so crazy because he would do it at night when we were sleep-nursing & it would completely wake me up, instead of just the partial waking up to get him latched on. He never went looking for a third boob, but when he was young he latched on to anything that got too close to his mouth, noses, chins, one time his dad's nipple when he was shirtless (totally freaked him out, lol).

He also went through a very long period where, at almost every nursing session he would switch back & forth every 30 seconds-2 minutes for quite a while before settling down to one or the other. That drove me absolutely nuts.
