I have heard conflicting answers

so I thought i would ask here. Can cows milk (organic of course) be frozen? I buy from a co op buying club from blooming Prairie natural foods but the milk only comes in bulk. I would spend the money if it can be frozen as no one in my group wants or needs to split milk, however,I won't if it can't.

Thanks

My SIL freezes goat milk all the time. In the card board container. No problems, although she does boil it before using it but she does that even when it's fresh.

Yes

When i lived on the farm we use to stock up on $1 bags of milk and freeze them, that way when it came to the turnip feeding season to the stock we would have cheap milk.

I freeze both farm fresh milk and store milk. The farm fresh I end up freezing in Ziplock which I know is not the best thing but I really dont know what else to use.:

Right now the place we get our milk is waiting for their cows to freshen, its awfull drinking the store whitened water stuff LOL

The only "difficulty" I know of is that it breaks down the homogenization, I think. Can any of you milk freezers confirm that for me?
