i'm baking a lot of bread these days and think i need to change my pans. they are either aluminum or old teflon ones.

are there any safe options? or do i skip the pans and just shape the dough into interesting shapes?

Hi!

See if you can find some clear Pyrex glass breadpans. That's the kind I use. I find that they make loaves that are just a little smaller than storebought loaves...not sure how they compare to the size of other breadpan loaves, though. I kind of like the size, though. They're really easy to clean, too, and you can stick them in the dishwasher.

That being said, interesting shapes on cookie sheets are very good too! You can make rustic hearth-looking breads, or little dinner rolls, or breadsticks, or all kinds of fun creative shapes!!

Hope this helps!!

God bless you,
icxcnika

*Edited to say that the Pyrex pans aren't that expensive, either--about 3 or 4 dollars apiece. You can probably find them pretty easily too; I think we bought ours at the supermarket!
