So This is My FOURTH Cold in This Pregnancy and No Exercise-Please Cheer Me Up

I am so worried that I am going to be out of shape for birth and that my baby is going to be huge...my other two were 10 lbs 6 oz and 9 lb 6oz. Deliveries were natural and no problems, but I am in a foul mood right now.

When, oh when am I going to be feeling better? I know this pregnancy is different because I am exposed to more germs since I already have two kids in school and a husband who teaches in public school but-----Ug!!! I am even pissed at my dog for scratching too much!

We were having the same problem...cold after cold after cold. My accupunturist actually recommended giving my 2.5 y.o. multi-vitamins, and it seems to have helped a lot (he was the starting point for many of the colds we were passing around).

Also we've (me & DH) been using a lot of Emergen-C if feeling run down, and he's been taking Airborne at the first sign of not feeling well.

Sorry to hear you're dragging, beansavi. It's hard to catch up once you start feeling bad, especially with little ones expecting you to keep plugging away!

I'm feeling crummy myself today; I was just wondering whether I should take some Emergen-C, whether it's OK in pregnancy. Good to see it mentioned here, MAMom.

Thanks, guys. I have been healthy for two weeks now. Whew! Emergen-C and Garlic tabs and Echinacea Throat Coat Tea has saved my life!
