Anyone experiencing heartburn?

The heartburn I have been experiencing is awful. I started taking digestive enzymes, and they seem to help some. Anyone else know of any remedies?

I don't have it .... yet.... but it was my first symptom w/dd... and it was AWFUL! I thought it was an ulcer. I went from drinking 4 cups of coffee to being unable to take a sip in one day- I was in hell.

I'm not sure what enzymes you're taking, but papaya helps. Hope it eases up for you! Kelly

heart burn

I never knew what heartburn was until late in my second pregnancy. But now I am already getting occasional bouts of it, particularly in the evening.
The thing that made me feel better last time was eating 1/2 a pint of Soy Delicious ice cream at night! I'm going to try really hard to avoid that this time!!!

Papaya enzymes worked for me last time as well. I know my naturopath also has some digestive enzymes in a capsule that she recommends I just need to get them! For me, the heartburn starts if I eat too fast but I really don't think I can predict it right now. I just burp whnever the urge arises!

My doc told me to try Pepcid AC and it works great for me.

I don't have it yet, but had it constantly from the end of the first trimester to her birth. I tried everything and finally ended up with Tums. A lot of them. I really thought I was going to always have it. Forever. But as soon as she was born, it was gone and has yet to return!

I have it bad. Have you tried papaya enzyme?

I took digestive ensymes(SP) last time around and they worked good. I haveb't got to my np this time to get some but it just got bad a couple of days ago. Everyone swore by the papaya but they didn't help me last time but who knows maybey this time around they will.
