Or maybe someone is like me...biscrapual. I started paper scrapping about 6 years ago but last year I started digi-scrapping and now I print my LO's 10x10 and paper scrap them into a 12x12 album. Anyways, I tried to get into the other scrapbooking thread but had a harder time relating and wanted to see if there were any like me.

Helloooooo

I haven't because I like 'chunky' pages. I also have TONS of supplies that I'm not willing to part with, so I stick with paper scrapping. I'd love to see your pages!

Could you post a picture example?

I do both paper and digital. I have found lots of great ideas and free stuff on the internet that I can right click on and save to a file. Then I use those to add my own pictures, etc. I also use HP Creative Scrapbook for a program. Digi scrapping is so much faster, but I also like to use my supplies up too. I have a ton of paper stashed.

One thing about digital is it is easy to save a copy and print off extras, I have done this for my birth moms that we have open adoptions with. They really like getting copies of the memory book pages and keep their own books, too.

So, what is your question about, are you just looking for others who do both?

OK.... This looks interesting!!! I have tried paper scrapping but just can't get into it. I think(know) I could totally get into this.

What program do you all use? Do you know anyone who uses GIMP? Can you point me to any sites that will help me get started???

THANKS,
Tricia

Digital scrapping is soooo much fun, you guys! Here's my gallery if you want to see some layouts~

I use Photoshop CS and have been doing it for a little over one year. I really love how creative I can be not only with the papers and elements, but with the photo effects as well. Oh, and it's cheap! You can collect so many freebies that you never even have to buy anything, and prints look great even on 8x8 (which I've been doing now).

I'm so glad I came across this thread! I have been wanting to do digital scrapbooking, because I could never getting into the paper-cutting scrapbooking. We have taken sooo many photos since we got our digital cam, and we got Photoshop Elements last year. I love the program, it makes it so easy to organize and find them. I also just got a scanner and am hoping to go through a lot of my old pictures and make scrapbooks of the past. I just borrowed a bunch of DH's baby photos from my MIL and scanned them....what a cutie! Thanks so much for all the links!

Oh! I definitely want to do this. I already keep a website going, and have thought about turning it into a scrapbook. I'm subscribing so I get some updates! Thanks for all your hard work, ladies!

Thank you so much for the great links ladies

I have recently became very interested in this hobby. I started collecting traditional scrapbooking supplies and found I couldn't buy enough. I already pay for the Internet, it was just so hard to sift through the net.

I have one link to ad:

A few free backgrounds and ideas.

I notice all the copyright laws and restrictions. I was wondering, if you actually purchase backgrounds, kits, etc... are you still obligated to restrict their use? Could I use them for scrapbooks I sell to other people?

Not usually, no. Most all of the time the kits you purchase or download for free are restricted to personal use only.
I know about the restrictions on the free downloads, but what about the ones you have to buy? I'm actually paying for their product, shouldn't I be able to use it for my own business?
