How do I oil this thing?

I feel silly asking this question to all of you experienced sewing ladies....
but, I have *never* oiled my machine.
I have had it since 1999, but I only use it about twice per year. I just got really into sewing again, and I know that I need to oil it. I have a Singer, and I lost the instruction manual way back when I got it.
Anyone good at this?

OK - not sure about the newer machines, but my Kenmore kind of "tips" out of its base to see the bottom. You will have to figure out how to open yours.
Either there will be arrows pointing to the spots that need oil, or you will have to guess.
Look for any spot where 2 metal things rub together or revolve inside each other and drip a drop or two there.

Alternatively, go to your local dealer and have the repair guy show you where to oil.

The top of my machine comes off and there are little holes for the oil, usually on any place where 2 pieces of metal are turning together.
Also, on the feed plate there are holes for the oil to go into the bobbin mechanism.
Remember to sew some scraps after oiling to absorb any spots of oil.
