Several years ago ('97 or '98) I was a book buyer for a large record store. One of my biggest sellers was a book called "The Guide to Getting It On", put out by Goofy Foot Press. It's basically a complete, 1000+ page frankly written book abour sex and sexuality. I bought it
It's been a while since I've looked at it, but the other day I saw it on the bookshelf, and I wondered if they mentioned circ'ing at all.
Lo & behold, there are *5* pages that are very anti-circ, referencing noharm, cirp, and several other anti-circ organizations (complete with contact info). This book dispells every single myth there is, from UTI to cervical cancer to phimosis.
I was expecting *maybe* a brief mention about it, given that it's a book about sexuality, I was hoping they might have a blurb in there that was anti-circ, but in no WAY did I expect all the info that they included.
Good stuff!
Plus, the type of book it is makes a great "gag" gift, for an anniversary, wedding present, etc....
Just wanted to share. Here's a link to the book on az.com:
