my new diapers and covers
It has taken me so long to post these diapers and covers. That waterproof barrier stuff I bought has been working out alright. My sewing machine isn't cooperating with me right now. The thread keeps on breaking while I'm sewing especially if I'm sewing hook. So I'm not sure if it didn't like the orange material or the waterproof layer. I also did an 8 layer french terry soaker, and then realized that I could have done a 4 layer one. The top three are my covers with Len's mills foe, which I have such an easier time sewing than the stuff you order. I am soo excited though because I have only one more AIO and one more cover to make newborn and then I move up to smalls!!! That will put me at about 25 diapers newborn, and I figure that they will only fit for two months so I don't want to have too many. I also have to make wipes and a diaper pail liner. I can't believe I am almost ready for this baby, diaper making is one of the best choices I have made, now we'll see if I still say that once I start using them
