Acupuncture

Is anyone thinking of doing acupuncture during this pregnancy or during labor?

I'm very excited, as I made myself an appointment for tomorrow. I feel so tired right now and run down. I would take a bath if I had a bathtub. But I know this treatment is going to help me feel better. I'm really interested in getting an acupuncturist to help me during labor too, as long as it isn't too expensive.

Just an article I found about acupuncture:

I haven't made an appt yet, but it's definitely something I will be doing as it's covered up to 80% on our extended health. I'm not feeling bad at all but it won't hurt The prenatal acupuncture specialist is around the corner (woohoo!).

The osteopath was already great for fixing my budding sciatic pain (I suffered for months with DS#2).

I am definitely going to do acupuncture, as I didn't with my first. Here in Germany they use it pretty much only to help in the weeks before labour so I can't make an appointment before I'm 32/33 weeks along.

But I'm going to see if I can get some treatment before, though acupuncturalists usually leave pregnancy treatments to the midwives, and I don't think I've heard of any midwives in this part of the world who do acupuncture treatments during the first or second trimesters.
