I'm doing all I can with the vitamin C, oils . . . He looks so pitiful and I am so sad.
A sick baby is no fun... I'm sure your little one will be feeling better soon, just keep up the vit c, oils and breastfeeding if you are. There's a lot of info out there, just look at all the info MT has provided and you'll feel much better!
Good luck~

Now dd loves her vitamin and takes it daily and Ive found his colds have been longer lasting and more severe than hers, so he is definately missing the vitamin c imo, and I thought i would try this.. another option, when I called the health food store they said they do have a pear nectar that is high in vitamin c, and i thought i might be able to mix it with apple juice relatively undetected? do you think it might work? Everything I have found has been in the lime or orange citrusy category, and .. he hates that taste. He wont drink orange juice or lemonade......

Hi,
I purchase mine online from Vitaglo.com, it's the cheapest I've found, someone here at MDC recommended them (sorry, can't remember who) I received it 2 days after I ordered.
8 oz.
3 pounds
It can be added to food, my dd is 8.5 months and ebf so I was unable to do that, I would assume it lends a salty flavour, some may like, some may not. It is not citrusy, it tastes like a diluted saline solution in water, can be covered up with a small amt of juice if you give your dc that. I would not do the pear nectar, it's mostly sugar and it would not be nearly enough c. Sodium ascorbate is your best bet. It helped my child immensely!
Good luck with your babe.
