Anyone else's little one hanging out sideways? Mine has been for some time -- the m/w told me I was measuring large horizontally though fundus measurement was normal. And I get pokes and kicks simultaneously on both right and left sides of my tum.

But yesterday I was miserable -- my stomach ached and I had bad cramps that I honestly couldn't tell if they were gas or what -- it just hurt (not BH -- I know what those feel like -- this was different and water nor lying down didn't make it go away). My SIL saw me and said the baby's sideways and growing at such a rate that my organs are getting all moved around, so I guess yesterday something moved that didn't like it.

Anyone else have a sideways one? Should I bother with the whole lying on a board, etc. to get her to go head-down? Or heck, feet down at this point would still be an improvement I think? I know she's still little enough to flip back but it's getting dang uncomfy for me :/

Any suggestions?

This little babe was breech but has now moved transverse, my belly has changed shape and looks odd I'm doing all the hands and knees, sitting on birth ball(hips lower than knees) and left side lying but I figure we still have a long time for them to move to head down. Transverse is not comfy though! maybe our babies will agree and spin for us!

This kid's all over the place. Sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes sideways...and it seems to change from one minute to the next.

Hang in there!

My ds is transverse right now. My first son was also transverse for several months. He eventually turned. I wouldn't be concerned as they have several weeks to turn.

My ds was transverse for a looooong time, and then finally turned head down. I'm thinking it was 30-32 weeks. Sorry you're uncomfortable.

Yup, I've got a sideways baby also. Although not totally sideways as the head is up near my belly button and the legs are down near my left hip. And it's been doing a tap dance on my bladder all day. I think it actually flipped head for a bit over the weekend as I was suddenly getting kicks in my midsection. But it didnt' last long. And even though I know it's early and the baby can still turn, I am starting to get paranoid that this baby isn't head down. With my first we didn't find out until he was 39 weeks that he was breech....so I would be really happy if this one would get head down and stay that way....

Darn! I was thinking we were going to trash the movie!

My littlest one squirms all over the place, but mainly settles on my left side.... so, for example, yoga is fun.... I can do Triangle pose on my right side, but not my left... and lunges? fugedaboutit.
