Lining prefolds with fleece

I searched the boards looking for my answer first, and I know someone else must have asked, but I can't find it! I am thinking about making some of my prefolds into prefitteds and lining them with fleece. This sounds pretty easy to me, but am I missing something? I figure I can just use a pattern online to make it into a prefitted, then just sew fleece down the center of the diaper. Can it be that easy? Has anyone done this, and does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance!

Here is a link to how to make a prefold into a prefitted. As for the fleece, did you mean as an inner lining or outer lining? I suppose you could line it with whatever you wanted. Some fleece wicks more than others though.
