We're veg, not vegan. She's 11 months - we're not on soy yet. She does not want to be fed anymore, only wants finger foods she can eat with her hands. Had to leave her with a sitter last night and made what used to be her favorite. mashed sweet potatoes, brown rice and an egg yolk - she wouldn't eat any of it and the babysitter put her to bed without dinner!
I make her a fresh veg every lunch/din - she happily eats broc, green beans, carrots, peas, corn - plus a grain, whole wheat corkscrews or macaroni with some tomatoes or sauce. She likes whatever I am having - pasta, pizza, one of her favorites is quesadilla with diced avocado. Just wondering if there is anything interesting I can make her that she can eat herself. If any veg mamas have special things they make that kids like to eat with their hands.
As of yet I do not believe she has any allergies. The 1st birthday extravaganza is in two weeks. Anything I need to keep in mind when ordering her birthday cake? I want her to be able to eat it!
Also wondering, if she's still not taking the sippy cup, I try every other day or so, do I need to be giving her a beverage with every meal, in a bottle?
Thanks.
