Sewing Machine Feet

Could someone look at this picture and tell me what 2 kind of sewing machine feet these are? http://photobucket.com/albums/c211/b...rrent=feet.jpg

The one on the left might be a straight stitch foot (ie, don't use it in zig zag mode or you'll break your needle! ). Not sure about the right one... The closest thing in my manual is a satin stitch foot, but I don't think it's as wide as that, and it doesn't have the lines on it.

I believe they are a straight stich foot and a buttonhole foot. I don't use either one for my machine but I have them too.

yep, I've got them too! Sometimes I use the plastic one when I want to see what I'm doing (or I'm feeling adventurous )

I should go check that basic sewing book out of the library again. Last time I learned how to work the button hole feature of my sewing machine... maybe this time I'll learn about machine feet! (oh, and I want to learn how to put a zipper in properly!)
