Help! Why are my AIOs leaking??

I made 6 AIOs, just a soaker, layer of flannel and then the PUL, they work beautifully My second batch I decided to Jazz it up a bit. They consist of the soaker, a layer of flannel, the PUL and then a home dyed cotton fabric on the outside. They leak like a siv. There is no waterproof what so ever Whay and how could this be???

We ought to make this a sticky - prints on the outside of AIOS will wick because they touch the fabric inside next to baby and act to bring the water from the inside to the outside. I'm assuming you sewed the layers together and then turned them right side out, right? So you'll see the outer print touching the inner layer on the seam, the waterpoof PUL lost in between not doing much good.

Stick to solid PUL outers for this kind of AIO. Lemme go dig up the thread on how to use a print on the outside of an AIO...
