Where did my period go?

I'm on Cycle day 52. No period yet.

Normal cycles are 35-42 days. Took a preg test on cycle day 50. negative. No symptoms either.

Not sure I ever saw ewcm.

We stopped using protection around cycle day 30 (I know, ) and we probably had unprotected sex 10 times between cycle day 30 and 52.

Did I just miss a period? Or is this one still brewing? did I just not ovulate or something? Should I just go on like it's a new cycle? Should I see someone?

What would you do? What do you think this means?

If you haven't seen any EWCM, then my guess would be that you haven't ovulated yet. You're still on the same cycle, just waiting to ovulate.

Are you taking your morning temperature? The easiest way for me to tell whether or not I've ovulated is based on whether or not I've seen a temperature spike.

Is there anything that has happened that may have just delayed ovulation? Have you been sick? Traveled?

I agree withe PP, most likely there has been no ovulation if you haven't seen any EWCM yet.

But it's been 55 days now... how could I have not ovulated? I wonder what part of the cycle my hormones think we're in... pre-ov or post-ov.

I am not taking my temp each morning. If I started doing it now I wonder if I would know if they were pre or post O temps.

Unfortunately in the middle of a cycle its pretty hard to decipher temperatures, especially if you don't know what is normal for you pre or post O.

Technically speaking without having a period it is still the same "cycle", but if you are really worried about why it hasn't come, then I'd recommed seeing someone or at least calling in to ask what they think.
