I just got a new sewing maching for Christmas! I am a beginner and would be interested in anything for ds. He is 8 months old. Any ideas??

What about a taggie style blanket? Those are pretty simple to sew and I bet he would love it.

i've made a ton of pants for my niece, very easy, all pattern companies have some version.
Aprons, for you, not your 8 m.o., are nice and easy.
Go to the fabric store and browse through the pattern books for things labeled easy or beginner.
