This is #3 for us and we are DONE DONE DONE!! No probablies, or maybies for us! DH is getting a V when this babe comes. I feel very good about this being my last PG - I didn't feel that way after DD2. Just like mytwogals, I have wanted three ever since her birth. But after I started school I just put it out of my mind - I never accepted that we were done, but I couldn't afford to think about it. Now my body has had to take matters into its own hands! This baby was a total surprise. I think I'll get my belly casted this time since this will be the last chance I'll have!

no regrets

This is #3 for us, and we hope to have more. I am the oldest of 9 (spanning 22 years) and I love it!!! Don't know that we're shooting for 9, but ... don't want to look back, either, and feel that we've short changed ourselves.

Oh they won't let you change your vote in the poll. I voted 2nd but these will be 2 and 3.. Oh well! And I dont think they will be our last...

This is number 2 for us, I originally wanted 3 during my first pregnancy but now, with how bad I feel during pregnancy, I think this will be my last. I make no guarentees, but right now, saying this will be my last.

#2! (And my first is only 9 months!!!) and I can't wait to get pregnant again! I want 5 total, but hubby is another story!!!! He's still trying to adjust to the fact that in a few months we'll have a 1 year old and a new baby!

This is our 2nd and last. I wasn't sure if I even was ready for a 2nd and well this one decided it was ready to be born. So now that I am used to the idea, we've decided that after the baby is born dh is getting "the big snip". It's always been our deal. I took care of bc for years and now it's his turn, lol.

#2...we'd like more, definitely. Once we're settled in our new house we're going to start fostering kids and then try for 2 more biological a few years later.

This is the big numero uno for me but I DEFINATELY want at LEAST one, maybe two more. But seeing as it took almost 3 years and lots of intervention to get this one I don't know if I will get that or if I will just have to be satisfied...But I am from 4 and my husband from 5 and we can't imagine only ONE so fingers crossed!

#1 for me too. We definitely want 2... I always thought I wanted 4 or so, DH thinks he just wants 2... we're going to re-evaluate after #2.

This is a great thread!

Second (hopefully) live birth, third child altogether.

If this is a healthy, living baby, we're done. It is too, too stressful to do the whole waiting-and-worrying bit with a genetic disorder.

And honestly, even if I lose this babe, I may be done anyway-- there is a whole big world out there beyond babies that's waiting for me. Though DH really has his heart set on raising two kids... so we'll cross that bridge if/when we come to it.

I think this may be my last pregnancy, totalling two kiddos. But really I want 3. I have a glimmer of hope that I may be pregnant with twins again and then I would have my 3. The ultrasound it tomorrow. . .

Dh does not think we can afford 3 unless I go back to work. I don't think I could work with 3! can't manage with 1!!!!!

REally though, for those of you with 2 or 3 or more children, is there a great cost difference between 2 and 3? Certainly saving for post sec. school, but anything else that troubles you?

Thanks!

For us the big expense is a new car, and school in the future since they will most likely go to private schools (not sure if we're up for homeschooling yet).

I answered two, because if all goes well this will be *child* number two. But it's pregnancy number 6, baby number 6. I've miscarried four times.

#4 for us and most likely our last. I would love more but dh doesn't want more. I told him to get fixed then!

#2. 1 and 2 will be about 9 years apart so DH had said that he either wanted no more kids (i.e. just #1) or 2 more closer in age, so chances are we'll have a 3rd as well.
