I am making books out of normal sized paper. I need to cover them somehow. Please give me ideas. I want something stronger than paper, to protect the contents.

these are all good!!
What about doing a piece of corrugated cardboard (from a box) and using spray adhesive to cover it with a piece of card stock? Would that work?
The craft foam sheets is a good idea too. Can I glue paper onto them? The art work for the cover is printed, and foam wont fit in the printer

Hmm... I bet cardstock on corrugated cardboard would work, but you might want to use a big enough sheet/extra layer to fold over the edges for a more finished look.

Cardstock on craft foam might work, but I'd be worried about it being too flexible and the glue cracking/not sticking...

If you're wanting to use printed artwork for the cover, my vote is to glue it to something stiff like cardboard or maybe even an old cereal box? or laminate it or something. Did you know they have really stiff laminating sheets at kinkos? They'd make for a pretty durable and waterproof! cover.

There is a store in Boston that sells book cloth and other supplies for making your own books. You can buy all sorts of fun bookbinding supplies on their website http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/...ing/index.html
