Tom Cruise planning to BF - Page 2

I found this link http://insider.tv.yahoo.com/insidetrack/malkin/
which, after talking about TC and KH goes onto to say this

Quote:
GUESS WHO: Talk about a Mr. Mom. This actor is said to be shocking expectant fathers by explaining how they can nurse their newborns. He says he hopes to do it when his girlfriend gives birth to their first child.
But it doesn't say that it's TC. I wouldn't put it past him though.

Next thing we'll hear is how he's having sympathy pains and knows exactly what KH is going through-what every woman goes through-with her pregnancy because he's there every step of the way. Or that he's read about how the baby can be transplanted into him and he's going to carry it.

He really makes me want to :Puke .

It's funny-I was reading an interview with Michelle Williams on Celebrity-Babies.com and she was asked about KH-her answer was how she thinks fondly of her time and colleagues on Dawson's Creek, it's just not that often.

Is Katie going to participate in this at all?

Edited to say: I went back and read the links. Wow. All I can say is that I'm looking forward to the Vanity Fair cover shoot of that vagina he's apparently going to grow once he's gotten the breasts under way.

So Tom Cruise is experiencing Couvade.

Someone is going to have to fit the poor guy with a "Man-ssiere" or a "Bro-ssiere". Cannot have him hanging all over the place, leaking on the set.

Men can really breastfeed??? : I had NO idea.

I wonder if Katie will breastfeed as well.......

Just too weird. What happened to him in the last 5 or so years? He seemed a little more normal prior to that...

I think he totally lost it .........I cant pin point when exactly but him dumping Nicole Kidman like he did was the first sign

Scientology.

I was never a big TC fan, but he is just so out there it is almost scary/sad. I ALMOST feel sorry for Katie, but not quite. She is probably so star struck, but just wait until reality sets in. I think it is sad that he has taken things to such extreme. I also think he is really giving Scientology a bad name b/c of his antics. I'm sure there are many well respected actors who embrace this type of "religion" but they are not so out there like Tom is. I am not supporter of Scientology in any way, shape or form. I had received some information about it years ago and it seems so cultish. Now when you think of it Tom Cruise pops in your mind and when you think Tom Cruise you think _________ (fill in the blank).

wow, he just keeps on going and going and going...i guess he can really do anything, huh? can't wait to see him on Biography in a few years when he totally self-destructs. His poor baby, I hope Tom doesn't screw him/her up too bad...

Unless he doesn't allow Katie to breastfeed, and his attempts are unsuccessful. Then what? The baby has to get formula because he's a controlling self-centered a**hole? (in my opinion, of course)

My dh had an idea for something called the "substi-teat" cooking for about a year after our second dd was born... "Meet The Fockers" broke his heart...

I thought scientologists fed their babies some kind of barley water formula? I have no idea of what I'm talking about.

Thanks Jenoline, that was the link where I read it. I havent been able to get to the computer I think that if TC does plan on BF its going to be ALL over the tabloids, so we'll just have to wait and see!

As wonderful as it is he wants his baby to have brestmilk, I think I would be a little freaked out if my husband wanted to do this. I look forward to being my babies food sorse to much, lol.

I'm all for breastfeeding of course, but I don't think it's advisable for a man to breastfeed unless the Mama is gone. Yes, it is *possible* for them to breastfeed, and there is documentation of it historically, but I don't think it's favorable. Don't flame me for this, but I am a firm believer in some things being truly women's work, things which men should not interfere with, because we have the instincts for the task. We're better at it.

That being said I'm beginning to think this whole Tom breastfeeding saga is an urban legend, (correct me if I'm wrong but) there's no legitimate reports of it anywhere.
