I had my first appointment today...I was very nervous as it was at my first appointment last pg that I found out baby had no heartbeat (they did a dating u/s at that appointment). All went well...your typical first appt....bloodwork, pap smear, chat with midwife about options and tests available to mom's who are over 35 when delivering (I'm pretty sure the only one we'll take is the Level 2 U/S at 20 weeks). She did offer me an early U/S though to ease my mind, so I'm happy about that. I go on Jan 3rd for that and then back on the 20th for my next appointment!
