supportive website/resources for new dads??

hey all you dads (and mamas) out there!
i have been wondering if there are any forums or supportive safe places for new dads to go to (kind of like here, but more dad-focused?). when i first had my babe, i noticed so many support groups, resources and forums for new moms, but nothing that was specifically focused to the new dads. i know that many of these places are open to new dads, but are more women-focused (and of course that is much needed!), so i'm wondering if anyone knows of a forum or something along the lines of "hip-papa"... when a new dad is feeling the pressure and anxiety of his big life change of being a parent, what can he do?
does such a thing exsist?
is it possible to create such a place?
what are your thoughts?

Maybe this place right here can be a supportive place. As a new dad myself, I have certainly received lots of support from moms on MDC. I'd be happy to listen to and converse with another dad.
My email address is: jordanvanvoast@msn.com, or he can PM me, or reply on this thread.

whatever you do, don't go to Fathering.com.

What does that mean? Just curious.

www.slowlane.com has a pretty good resource for Dad-specific stuff.

I prefer the Mothering Boards because here, Moms are pretty much "with it" anyway so I learn from them and the guys in the Dads area just fine.

As far as there not being as much material out there for Dads, that's the price pioneers pay. When I became a SAHD only five years ago, there was next to nothing. There's allegedly more now, perhaps I've just stopped looking.

Here is another possibility:

www.firsttimedad.com
"a resource just for fathers from pregnancy through early parenthood."

I have not had time to check it out yet.

thanks, daddios, for all the replies! i too agree that this is a great place to go for dad stuff as well as mama stuff, but i wanted to see if anyone knew of specific dad related stuff (slowlane.com was a great one, thanks Dov!)
my mom is a social worker who works with at-risk youth and wanted to know of any sites such as these for some of her clients who are first time (young) dads. i told her about mdc, but she thought it was exclusively for mothers...i'll tell her it's a good place for papas as well. i hope her clients will be motivated to come here for support.
any more ideas are definitely welcome!

ps. of course, i didn't take heed to mamabeard's post--fathering.com should be renamed as ignorantasallhell.com

hmmm..

i just checked out fathering.com again, and it seems to be a different website altogether. it used to be a message board, seemingly populated mostly by bitter exhusbands with children. most of the stuff i read was complaints about how p*ssed they were that they had to pay child support, that women are evil, yadda yadda. it was weird, too, cuz i heard it was affiliated with Mothering.com. such a bizarre contrast!
