Yeah, it happens to me, too, caffeine or not! It does look scary. And I also get the eye twitch, which isn't usually visible to anyone, but I feel it. But after I gave birth, I became extremely twitchy (all over my entire body!). Very diconcerting. I even had an MRI which revealed nothing. My neurologist said that some people get them, and they're called benign fasciculations. Sometimes, my finger or eye gets a twitch that lasts for days.
WOW thanks everyone.you know actually I only have half a cup to 1 cup a day od coffee, however I too have an eye twitch.i also recently have gotten an eye floater....i have a pituitary tumor ,its small and not cauding me problems and is beneign, maybe theyre all related .i can never get any answers out of calling the doctors office, lol, ill try the supplaments.........Yah,it really was scary to see, hahaha
my fingers get really twitchy off an on-- i have had other twitches all over my body in just about every muscle. i went to a neuro and had a clean bill of health. basically as long as you have not noticed muscle atrophy or weakness (not perceived weakness, but dropping things, etc.) then you are okay.
Thanks Mel,i will go check it out.....you have what also ,The eye floater?hmm, only thing I can be is quite clumsy,lol......i also have anxiety difficuklties too,WOnder if that may cause it too......thanks!
mat4mel, sounds totally like me. And it's separate, but I have eye floaters! You're more prone to them if you're near sighted, which I am. I am a total anxiety person, so I'm not surprised that it may be related to the twitchies. There's some comfort in knowing others of you are around- makes me more comfortable believing the dr. that this stuff exists and can be benign!
