January has started!!!
Well shoot! I was going to order some doublers because dd is super soaking her diapers even during the day. Oh my goodness that girl can pee! She's leaking through Sandy's and ME Airflow covers. I thought AF covers were leak-proof. I was just doing some shopping around and heard fireworks that signaled the new year. (What a way to welcome in the new year-- shopping for diaper doublers!
) I'm serious
about no spending in January and now it IS officially Jan, so I guess I'll have to get creative with the sewing machine and make my own doublers. I'm capable, just lazy.
I was so good at the grocery store today. I didn't buy anything but food and almost everything in the cart was on sale. I even asked for a raincheck on something that they were out of.
Nitara's bday is on the 27th and we are not going to buy her any gifts. The girl has enough stuff, esp since she has so many toys handed down from her sister. She loves to open presents but doesn't really care what's inside, so I'll just wrap some of her favorite toys. I'll make her a cake and we will go out to eat at an Indian restaurant.
Dh and I have our 10 year anniversary on the 10th but no gifts except, ahem, things that money can't buy.
A friend gave us a gift card to Cheesecake Factory that we'll use for that day, and then maybe watch TV until the kids go to bed.
So how did you all ring in the new year? Hopefully something more exciting than window shopping for diaper doublers.
We WILL get out of cc/ home equity loan debt in 2006!!
