We just found out last week that we are due with number two in early September 06!

We've very excited and planning a home wtaer birth, possibly unassited. We'll see how I feel about my strength.

Hello and congrats!

I'm expecting #2, too. I had an accidentally unassisted homebirth with #1 and desire a UC with this one. DH says he'd be more comfortable seeing a midwife, however. He's all for UC for labor and birth, though! He really liked catching and being the only one there.

Hi! Congratulations on #2, we're expecting our second also! We are planning for a homebirth also. I'm actually hoping to have the baby outside, the weather here is beautiful in September and would be a perfect place to have the baby, plus there will be more room for the family and friends planning to attend. I would love to have an UC, but I know dh won't go for that at all.

wow GS you were a surrogate mom too? That's wonderful!

I would love to birth my baby outside. That would be heavenly, we live in an apt tho, so I dont think that is going to be happening. If I had a backyard, you bet I would be birthing outside.

Glad to have you here in the birthclub!

Congratulations!

I'm not sure I could birth outside at home...too many nosey neighbors. Not that I have a problem being naked and loud in front of other people, mind you, but only if they're supportive. The neighbors already think I'm some sort of hippie nutjob. I don't think I could bear to add more fuel to the fire.

Lol! Me too! We don't have a very big back yard, I don't need them all up in my business like that!

Congrats and welcome!
Another homebirther here, though we're having a midwife attend.
I'd LOVE to have the baby outside, but we live in town and, well, I kind of....scream...sometimes
I really think that would be one of the most amazing experiences ever....maybe with #4 eh?
