She came out!!
I had my lady friday night!!
yes at home, yes UC, born 4 hrs after my water began leaking.
Adelle Grace 8lbs 1/2 oz and 20 1/2 inches.
she's a lovely little thing

I wish I knew how to shre photos with you all.
It was my most difficult labor, had a retained placenta as well. I tried it ALL to get it out and was ready to give up and go to bed and forget it, when dh reminded me that we DID have a mw and why not? so she came over and talked me through removing it. I have to say I was being a bit of a baby by then. But I'd rather her try some gentle traction then a transfer. She didn't need to do any traction, just help me focus to bring it out. This was about 2hrs after the birth and with no contractions despite nuring, nipple stim and all else. I even twiddled my fundus! There's a first time for everything I guess and I imagine it was due simply to my extreme exhaustion.
We're dancing now that she's here, and refer to her as the "babyball" due to how scrunchy she is

The other children haven't quit dancing. First they get grandma here for weeks on end, now a new sister to kiss.
only my ribs are sore, though i've had to carry around my gigantic belly over my arm. Simply hoping I still have a little elasticity left in my skin after all I've asked it to do!!
I hope everyone else is settling in well or has more patience then I did those last days.
PS dispoable diapers have their uses! I wore them after my water broke and then again after birth (with a normal pad) so I didn't stain my favorite pristine white sheets. I thought i'd have some extra bleeding due to the retained placenta, but I'm already barely having any flow at all. Still, those Huggies we got for my 1yo were more useful then I thought they would be!
