Here's a link to the thread I posted in Dec 2005's DDC.

Well, everyone, my baby has been born! She's absolutely the most amazing little person! I'm still stunned by the fact that she's a completely new person and I pushed her out into this world. I'm still shell-shocked by the whole thing.

We're home already and very happy to be here. Mum and dad are doing well. Carys is getting adjusted to eating and pooping. Her tiny brand new digestive system is giving her some trouble but we'll get through it.

Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for the three of you! What exciting and wonderful news. I have loved her name since the first time you shared it with us. It's beautiful.

Thanks everyone!

It's been just about 3.5 days since she was born and what a ride we've had with her. She's pretty even tempered so far but gets SO fussy at night. Heh. No amount of reading and warnings from other parents can really prepare you for that weird hung over feeling you get from sleep deprivation. But just looking at her, playing with her fingers and toes and watching her take her first glimpses at the world makes it all totally worth it.

Oh yes... don't remind me! The past few days I've gotten less than 8 hours of sleep because I've been antsy, and I know its NO WHERE NEAR how tired I'll be after the little one is here. There are just some things you don't forget!
