Special notes: I had three weeks of prodromal labor and then 4 hours of active labor last time... so I'm not sure if I'm looking at a longer labor or having the baby in the minivan while shopping for groceries. I had five weeks of prodromal labor, went one week overdue and then had a 2 hour labor. I am thrilled all around even though going overdue was mentally difficult, my labor was way intense and I was oh-so-wrong about gender. I'm in love.

I'm to have a scheduled c/s, but am making my doc schedule it for 41 weeks to let me go into labor naturally (DD was 5 days early, so hoping this stands true this time too). Then I may take my time getting to the hospital and see what happens when I get there. I guessed one time for early section and one for taking my time getting there... Had the scheduled c/s and was more sick from the spinal drugs than I thought I would be. Recovery otherwise wasn't bad!

My Guesses...

Sex (your guess or u/s result): I have no clue! We go back and forth. Right now I'm leaning pretty heavily toward girl. I have no idea why. Ask me tomorrow! Toward the end of the PG DH and I both started leaning pretty heavily toward boy and here he is.

What day will baby be born: May 3. Again . DH has been seeing triple numbers all over the place so... Wrong again!

What time baby will be born: I hope during a time when friendly staff is on! It feels like it will be during the daytime though. Milky Face came on into this world in the AM.

Length of labor: I want to say 12 hours. I'd been having prodromal labor for a few weeks but I started having a series of wake me up ctx. So from then till birth I'd say about 22 hours. I wasn't even sure I was in labor labor till about 11:30 or so.

Where: In the hospital. Maybe we'll have a "surprise" UC. No surprise UC (almost!) but shockingly enough the hospital staff pretty much left us alone thank God.

Weight: 7lbs, 6oz. Have no idea where that number's coming from. Well when he was 1st born they told us 7lbs, 6oz. Then a few hours later they told us 7lbs, 8oz.

Length: 21 inches. Another number out of nowhere. Close! 20 inches.

Sex: I've felt boy from the beginning. We're going to be surprised.
Well, not only were we not surprised (I caved to dh's desires at the 21 wk ultrasound) we had another girl!

When: May 23rd. I think I'll go a little later than dd because I'm terrified of two (well, no more than any other mom with a 2 yo, I suppose) and I don't want another Taurus man in my life. The only thing that's giving me pause is that there are a series of numbers that always show up in my life and 5 (May) is never one of them. Oh, well.
May 30th. I was right about one, thing, though. I was still terrified to have 2 kids and I really believe that's what made me go a week late. Once I resolved that I went into labor. And the number thing still has me wondering as her numbers don't add up to anything else in my life. I wonder if she was meant to be born on the 31st and I my interventions screwed that up? Not really worried about it at this point.
