So, should I be concerned?

I don't really know anything about NFP or ways to watch for ovulation. The past 2 times that we have gotten pregnant we have just had lots of sex The other day dh and I failed to use a condom (our current method of protection) and I'm nervous. I have just stopped bf'ing dd (long story) about a week ago but we have gone long stretches overnight for a couple of months now.
Anyway, shortly after we had sex I noticed that I had the very stretchy, egg white like cervical mucous and this rang a bell. I did a bit of reading and it seems that this could indicate ovulation? Once I got thinking about it I also realized that over the past week or so I've been much more "frisky".
We don't really want to get pregnant again - certainly not now and maybe not ever. The last 2 times we conceived we did so on the first shot so it seems we get pregnant quite easily.

All of this to say - do you think I should be concerned? Does it sound like ovulation to you? And if I was having the egg white cm the day we had sex what does that mean?

Have you ever followed your cm? I ask because I am an EGCM queen! I'd say about 90% of my cycle I have genuine EWCM. There is no pattern to it either. I don't have "normal" cycles within my cm. I rarely have dry days and I hardly have stretchy days. That's just me. Does it help with fertility? Yes and no! Also, since you say you just weaned I would think you'd be ok. My DD is 7 months and I have had two weeks of solid EWCM. I'm not pregnant? I know cause I got AF today. I hope you can figure it out soon! I'd say to start watching your cm and find out your pattern!

Perogi- What you saw could have been from your dh, especially if you saw it right after you had sex. Their fluid resembles ewcm, so it is easy to mistake it for that. However if it was ewcm, there is a possiblilty that you were ovulating and you may be pregnant....

hth!
