Prodromal labour

.......is so annoying. I know I know, its moving you in the right direction. But I never really had any with my DS. I had BH but never reg cnx or all this pressure. I feel like my whole pelvis is stretching and can feel the head pressing on my cervix. I know its good for my body and will help make active labour easier. But it's already hard enough to keep on telling myself the babe will probbaly be late and not to get my hopes up when there is so much moving and shaking going on.......especially when it wakes me up at night.

Anyone else?

I am SO THERE! I keep thinking, "this could be it", then it goes away. I never had this with DD either. I had a midwife appt today and hoped she would check me but she didn't and I felt silly asking.

I do hope that it is doing something ~ (I know it's doing "something" but I hope it's dilating my cervix to about 7 or 8!! )

I'm with ya mama ~ I will be so annoyed if I go late after all these darn ctx!!!

Do you know what position your baby is facing? If you're unsure, check out spinning babies to see if you can figure out what position your babies are in- when I hear about 'prodromal' labor I always think.. what's going on inside?

Check out that link, and my newsletter on OFP , maybe it will be helpful to you. The concern is that if you can't get any rest because of the slow moving labor that exhaustion can set in and that can just make things more complicated. If nothing else, this will give you something to read while you wait!

I have a slightly different take: My last labor was 12 days of prodromal labor followed by 8 hours of super hard labor. So this time, I keep waiting on the days and days of it and I'm actually a little "worried" because it's not happening! How's that for messed up!? With my first, I was just toolin' around and went into labor. Then I got the prodromal thing. And now, I'm just toolin around and I'll go into labor sometime. It's kind of wierd to feel like this.

I feel for you guys. I've been in prodromal labor for about 48 hours and I'm already exhausted. I'm like, "okay, body, either be in labor or be comfortable and able to sleep. Pick one and go with it!" I'm sick of this in between nonsense. Give me my baby or give me peace!

I *think* my baby is ROT or ROP but i couldn't figure out if I need to do anything to change that or if it changes itself. ???
