Specifically with her Pickled Garlic recipe? I followed the instructions to put it in the oven at 300 degrees until the garlic heads opened...well, they never did. And now I'm stuck with 12 heads of roasted garlic, which wouldn't be too bad except that the house reeks of garlic and it's making me feel nauseated.
So, has anyone managed to make the pickled garlic? Did you do it via the instructions she gives, or did you just peel the garlic while raw and go on from there?
PS: anyone have ideas as to what I should do with all this roasted garlic?

: I don't really know what it means that the heads will open... My husband and I sat a picked all the cloves out and I made pickled garlic anyway. I didn't take *to* terribly long and the garlic was really good! My husband loved it, but I haven't made another batch for obvious resons...
