Tracy, the last we heard from you, you were stuck. I hope you're holding your sweet baby now and we just haven't heard from you because you're busy. Thinking of you and hoping it all ended beautifully!

Wugmama (or her dh, can't remember) updated in her "water broke!!!!!" post! She had the baby, and they seem to be ok.

Thanks...I somehow missed that, despite my all too frequent visiting of this board lately! I'm so glad she only needed a bit of Pitocin, just like you suggested, Tara.

Thanks for thinking of me!

It brought a tear to my eye to see this post. I have'nt been able to come to the board for awhile. I had a very good birth experience, but have been mourning the loss of my homebirth. I have been able to talk to my midwife about it and it has helped tremendously. Still, I cry a bit every day about it. There was a point where I was in the tub, my husband was shooting pics, my one midwife was making my bed up with my plastic cover, and the other midwife was brewing my herbal bath for afterwards. We thought it was go time. Now I keep thinking about it every time I get in the tub to soak. I see that I had a typo on my last post - I was hard pressed to get one contraction going per 15 minutes (not every one minute). This was after my water had been broken for 3.5 days.

I have a beautiful, sweet baby boy, a true blessing!

I will write my birth story when I am up for it.

So glad to stop in today and see all the new birth announcements! I am routing for each and every one of you ladies and little ones!

Tracy, I'm not surprised that hear that there is some mourning involved for you in losing your hb experience. Hugs to you. My first dd's birth was not what I had planned for, worked toward and wanted and I carried sad feelings about that for quite a while. And on the other hand, I think the way you handled this birth was absolutely amazing. You exhibited such grace and patience. I think many in your situation would have ended up with quite a bit more intervention. Congratulations to you for that, strong mama!
