Hello, ladies! Congratulations to you all.
We finally got the + on New Year's Eve. We tried last cycle and weren't successful, even though everything was timed perfectly. It really threw my for a loop, and I started having problems w/ my depression. I had a lot of things happen in a very short period of time surrounding the...nonsuccess, and, for a while that, I was worried that it would take me a long time to get things straight.
Seeing that + has definitely helped. It wasn't as strong as I would have liked, but hey... a + is a +. Even though we've been trying, the actual conception was a total surprise. I ovulated a week early. I didn't realize it until the next day. The funny thing is that we've been trying for a boy, and w/o even realizing it, we timed it perfectly. We went to so much trouble last cycle, and then this happened on accident.
I get a little frustrated when I think about it sometimes, but it makes me smile, too. So much about this pg so far is turning out just like DD. We got the + w/ this one 2 days before we did w/ DD, and this EDD (9/9/06) is 2 days after DD's original EDD of 9/7. (The m/w changed it to 9/3, and she was born on 8/29/04). These two should be almost exactly 2 years apart, which is just what we wanted.

Needless to say it didn't happen as I envisioned, but it's still good. Welcome!
I definitely understand frustration; I had 2 1/2 years of BFNs with my DD, and it can get REALLY exhausting. My DD and this baby will also be nearly 2 years apart. I always thought 2 1/2 years was perfect, but this'll work.
