Why didn't anyone tell me....

that I walk so friggin' slow!? I Mentioned this in my "no birth beads" post but it warrants its own. PEople have been letting me walk around all this time slower than all get out and not saying anything to me. DOn't leave a mama in the dark! Let a sister know..."GIrl, you are SLOW!" I waddled out to the mailbox yesterday and realized that I am seriously one slow-moving entity. Why has no one informed me of this!? I feel so bad for everyone that has walked anywhere with me in the past um... while. Except my toddler, he has short lets, so this is perfect for him

That's O.K. Tara. I practically move backwards I walk so slow...but at least people have told me. Especially my family who are constantly looking behind themselves to see if I'm still coming. I can crawl faster than I can walk but find the holes in my knees of my pants and the people staring at the mall too much to handle .
One day we'll be fast walkers again and I'm sure our toddlers will miss us being slow.

Ugh! I know what you mean! The insides of my thighs hurt so much that I can barely move them. And every single time I come home I have 3 flights of stairs and a toddler I have to carry!

Heh, I'm the one telling people *I* walk slow! I keep saying to dh, "Slow down! I've got 40 extra lbs on me, and extra blood, and I'm TIRED!"

I'm always telling my husband "I just can't walk that fast, I'm sorry" and he slows down. My right hip hurts so bad, it feels like I fell off my horse or something like that and landed on it.

I just noticed today that my walk is more of a *waddle, waddle, limp, waddle*

With the weight on my pelvis and the sciatica in my hip ~ I look like Elaine from Seinfeld when she's dancing!
