ANyone of you ladies know a surefire way to get baby to drop

Pregnancy with DS head was high all the time and I figure that is one reason why we never got labour started on our own.

This time around yeah I know it is not as commen for baby to drop before labour starts but my midwife really seems to want it to and I think that maybe it might help move things along.
I will be 40 weeks on Monday and after that I think my stress level is going to increase and I really want to avoid that.

Head is in the perfect position to drop down..DF has a feel every day to check it out(it really feels like a tiny head but maybe we are just forgetting how tiny newborns are)
Midwife said to walk(yeah I did that with DS and nada)and now I have nowhere to walk its friggin freezing out and the sidewalks are full of ice.
I can't do stairs either as I have DS and he is way too young to do them with me.
I am sitting on my birth ball and hoping that encourages babe to move down..anything else?

Can you drive to a mall and walk around with DS in a stroller? Also, I don't know if it was just coincidence but I think visualization helped my baby to drop lower. My doctor suggested I try it. Just try to get a free, quiet moment to yourself and imagine the little one shimmying down to the right position.

Walking is pretty much it. Staying upright and active. Many subsequent babies never do drop until the moment of labor though, so I wouldn't really worry about it. I never dropped my last pregnancy, so I was surprised I did this time at all.

Nope can't get to a mall...but I did just do a hour or so of housework...maybe if I keep that up something will happen beisdes getting a clean house.
I know most second or more babies might not drop until labour but it would be nice to have it happen..head is flaotong just above the pelvic bone just needs to go down a few more inches sigh.
