For those wondering if I caved: I CAVED! She went and got a huge box of vinyl gloves, just for me, how could I resist? 
So y'all want numbers, right? Well.... long, soft, a little dilated (she said she could have done two fingers but she wasn't trying to "do" anything) My cervix is posterior, but its pretty much always like that. The best thing is that baby IS head down!! That's the real reason I had her check me, becaus einternally, you can really tell and I"ve been worried about where baby's head is recently. A very obvious head...hooray!! I have no disappointment or anything about being just a little dilated, I know it really means nothing, but I was sooo curious! Baby's lookin' good, has legs up to its neck 
A friend of mine stopped by so she was here for my midwife's visit. She's a UCer, so she thought it was really cool to see the baby and hear it with the doppler and everything and I was happy to share with her because I love her 
SO yeah, I'm still pregnant I'm guessing i'm gonna make it to my due date. I said this baby would either be born under the new moon or the full one and the full moon is when I'm due so... Baby will come when he or she is ready...be it tonight or next weekend. I'm in no rush, though I really would be happy with this pubic bone in a diffrent state All is well here, midwife comes back next Thursday. As of Friday, I will be the most pregnant I have ever been too, so that's kind of exciting. (boys were born at 38 wks 2 days and 38 wks 4 days). Off to clean or something, toodles!
ETA: I measured 37.5!! Last week I measured 39. Guess what that means? Yep, baby's head is nice and low! You can tell too (cuz my pubic bone sure can hehehe) I'm gonna have a babeeee!
