Home visit was today

So we had our home visit. Nothing too spectacular except that I am irritated at the baby's new position. She had been LOA for many weeks and then a few days ago she shifted. I was hoping to OA but couldn't get a good read on it at all. Then she kinda shifted back so at least I knew she wasn't transverse. However it seems that she is a bit posterior. I know that isn't the end of the world but it really irritated me.

MW never got my email so she didn't bring the birth tincture, I will pick it up tomorrow. She did bring the tub though so I am excited about that. I usually don't request being checked but was going to. I changed my mind though and denied it--after hearing the word posterior, I didn't want to hear zero too! She suggested I go on walks (BRRR) so we all did after lunch. It was nice out, chilly, and if I walked any slower I would be a turtle, but ctx are continuous when I walk and the sharp cervical pains can really be painful. The ctx aren't painful, just tight which make it hard to walk.

I don't think I will go this weekend, never really thought I would. STILL don't have a name and that is getting really irritating since we are actually making an effort now.

Gosh, I am still really grumpy! UGH! :

Amy, we don't have a name here, either (well, we have a boy's name, but not a girl's) and I'm four days past EDD. Pretty bad, isn't it? I found myself wondering today if THAT'S why the baby isn't coming.

I hope your baby shifts soon. Posterior would upset me, too. Fortunately, it sounds like the baby is only partly posterior and hopefully, there's some time to move.

I think your irritation (at anything, at this point) is pretty normal. At least, I hope it is, since even the slightest thing irritates ME these days.

I think you were wise to avoid that check with the mw.

Hang in there!

www.spinningbabies.com for getting baby anterior.

IME, getting good and grumpy is the best sign that labor is near...

Good luck!
